Busan, KR

22:30 -- Oh boy, I have spent a horrible night. If the keeper of the Hanjin hostel was a nice chap, the place was dirty, small and noisy, etc. Don't go there.

Anyway, I've caught a bus to Busan this morning at 8:40. I was the only passenguer -pretty cool. Busan is my last city in Korea, and so far so good. Off the bus I headed to Seomyeon, and while I was wandering around there to find a hotel/motel, some guy in a BMW stopped and asked me what I was looking for. I told him I was looking for a place to sleep, and he gave me a ride to a nice hotel in that area. Meanwhile he made fun of France loosing at football last year.

So after registering to the hotel, off to Dongnae Hot Springs. This Spa is the best place I have been so far. It has everything: variety of tubs to soak in, waterfall massage, dry sauna with TV and sleeping area! I had a scrubbing session...I had so much dead skin; it was nasty. I felt sorry for the guy! Don't laugh cause if you're not doing it every 2 weeks, you would have been like me・

So after some quality time there, I headed back to central Busan (Nampo-Dong). Nampo-dong is few busy blocks full of shops and restaurants・nd Russians. Busan is huge harbour, and that part of the city is on the harbour・weird atmosphere.

After a shower and a short nap, I went out for dinner and on my way back I bumped into a parade celebrating the 2547th birthday of Buddha. The actual birthday is on May 8th; unfortunately I'll be in Kyoto by then. Anyhow, enjoy the pictures! Oh, the symbol that looks like the reverse image of the swastika is an ancient Buddhist religious symbol. Don't feel offended although it feels weird for us Westerners.

Time to sleep. Good night.
