16:37 -- I've arrived this morning around 10 after an 11-hour flight. For once, I had a nice journey, the plane was quite comfy, the food was good, and I've managed to get some sleep.
I've crashed at the YMCA in Jongno for tonight. It's crappy and expensive but I was too lazy to search for a proper or not-so-proper hotel with all my luggage :) I will do that later in the day. I am now in Mares coffee shop having a shake and trying to hook up to a wireless Internet connection. I am not really successful and most likely this will be posted later from a net cafe.
I've walked around Tapgol Park area for an hour before stopping here and my feelings are quite mixed. First impressions: dirty, polluted, exciting, wannabe American, homogeneous, alive. We'll see how I'll perceive the city in a few days. So far, Koreans seems to ignore foreigners, and foreigners tend to greet each others. on my way here, several people nodded, smiled, talked to me. Living in Finland I find it weird. Haha.
I'm done with my shake, time to explore some more.
